The Bump Hunters Race is the Sunshine Coast’s premier downwind SUP and surf foil event, challenging ocean athletes to conquer a grueling 30 km point-to-point course along Queensland’s spectacular coastline.

Stretching from Yaroomba to Moffat Beach, this annual race is all about speed, strategy, and reading the ocean. Competitors harness powerful south-easterly swells and winds, relentlessly "hunting bumps" to maintain flight and fly across the open water.

Brought to you in partnership with the Sunshine Coast Foil Club, Bump Hunters brings together a passionate community of elite foilers, weekend warriors, and ocean lovers. Whether you are aiming for the podium or looking to smash a personal milestone, this event delivers an unmatched downwind experience.
