The Foil Drive Assist MAX+ takes everything that the world loved about our most popular foil assist and evolves it into the latest Gen 2.5 class, turning up thrust, runtime, and safety features to unlock autonomy across all foiling disciplines.

Built around the same proven 43V power, tech, and charging architecture of the Fusion, the MAX+ offers our most durable one piece battery design, all while retaining the compact, lightweight and balanced package that made the original MAX so versatile.

Unlock smaller foils, boards, performance, faster take-off, and more time on the water with tilt-safety cut off features that makes this same retrofit kit so family friendly.

The lightweight balance that made MAX the all rounder remains, while everything around it has evolved.

Riders can enjoy a sportier feel without compromising on thrust and boost thanks to the NEW FM+650 Battery (650Wh) and early in 2027 the even smaller, FM+430 Battery.

The Foil Drive Assist MAX+ steps into the generation that Fusion has already proven on the water. It directly replaces Assist MAX, bringing increased power, a tilt sensor and improved Bluetooth technology, with unlocked runtime from the new FM+ battery range

While the technology has advanced, the philosophy remains the same. The Assist MAX+ is still designed for riders who want the perfect balance of power, weight, and runtime across a wide range of foiling disciplines. The new FM+ battery family also gives you the flexibility to choose between longer runtime or a lighter setup as new battery options become available.

How does the Assist MAX+ compare to Fusion?

The Assist MAX+ is optimised for balance, offering an excellent mix of power, weight, and runtime.

Fusion is built for riders who want maximum thrust and the longest possible sessions. It delivers our highest performance but comes with additional size and weight.

Are my current 40V Assist MAX batteries compatible?

No. The Assist MAX+ uses our new 43V battery platform and is only compatible with the latest FM+ battery range.

Can I share batteries between Assist MAX+ and Fusion?

Yes. The new FM+ battery range is compatible across both Assist MAX+ and Fusion. Fusion requires the FM+ Battery Adaptor, while the Assist MAX+ accepts the batteries directly.

Can I try the Assist MAX+ before I buy?
