Built for riders who want assistance only when they need it. The Assist Alu Mast positions the motor pod 18 cm below the board, allowing the propeller to lift clear of the water once you're on foil. The result is the natural feel of traditional foiling, while still giving you instant power for take-offs, pumping, downwind runs, light wind sessions, and wave riding. Perfect for riders who prioritise efficiency, responsiveness, and minimal drag while flying.

The E-Foil Alu Mast places the motor pod at the base of the mast, keeping it submerged throughout the entire ride. This provides uninterrupted thrust, making it the ideal choice for dedicated eFoiling and longer powered sessions.
With fully integrated wiring and a streamlined aluminium motor pod, the system is designed to maximise efficiency while maintaining compatibility with a wide range of foil setups.

Getting started is simple: Choose your RRD x Foil Drive mast, then select your Foil Drive system (MAX or Fusion), battery, and compatible foil setup to build your complete ride.


1. Choose Your System
Choose from the Fusion, MAX, or Slim. The MAX is the all-round favorite with great power and runtime. The Slim is the lightweight, minimalist option. The Fusion blends eFoil-level power with Assist-style agility.


2. Choose your battery
Each system can be paired with different battery sizes to suit how you ride. Larger batteries deliver longer runtime, while smaller batteries keep the weight down, perfect for performance foiling and a more agile feel on the water. Whether you’re chasing endurance or chasing waves, the right battery choice ensures your Foil Drive moves with you.


3. Choose Your Motor
Choose your power: Standard for everyday riding or High-Power for more torque and longer sessions. Some setups include High-Power, others don’t, check inclusions. Have an integrated mast? You’ll need an integrated motor.

What's the difference between the Assistant Alu Mast and the E-Foil Alu Mast?
The main difference is the motor pod position. The Assistant Alu Mast places the motor pod 18 cm below the board, allowing it to lift clear of the water once you're foiling for a cleaner, drag-free ride. The E-Foil Alu Mast positions the motor pod at the base of the mast, keeping it submerged for continuous power throughout your session.
Why an Integrated Mast?
Integrated Masts have become highly desired within the Foil Drive community as they reduce drag and install time while maintaining a sleek look. They are perfect for those who never want to remove their Foil Drive or change the motor position, making for a faster install and a smoother ride!
Which mast is right for me?
Choose the Assistant Alu Mast if you primarily ride waves, downwind, pump, or wing foil and want power for take-offs with a natural foiling feel once you're flying. Choose the E-Foil Alu Mast if you want uninterrupted motor assistance for dedicated eFoiling and longer powered sessions.
Can we move the position of the motor?
Foil Drive Integrated Masts cannot be altered. this means that once the motor is in position, you can change where it is placed. You can order a Foil Drive without an Integrated Mast if you wish to do this, or opt for two different Integrated Mast setups.
What construction is used?
Both masts feature precision robot-welded aluminium motor pod construction, combining strength, durability, and lightweight performance for demanding conditions.
