Lightning Bolt Trench

Lightning Bolt Trench

Designed specifically for the Foil Drive Gen2 and Gen2.5, the Lightning Bolt Trench combines the proven performance of the Lightning Bolt with an integrated trench to improve clearance around the Foil Drive unit. The trench helps the board plane earlier with less drag and reduces drag on touchdowns.

The design features a straighter tail rocker without a pronounced tail kick, helping the board lift onto foil in a more horizontal position. A rounded-square tail adds volume where it's needed to support a balanced takeoff.

The adjustable mast position accommodates different rider experience levels, with a rearward position for beginners and a more forward position for experienced riders who prefer a shorter-board feel.

Amundson's Signal Windows provide a clear connection between the Foil Drive unit and controller. The design also allows easier movement of the mast and unit for customers who choose not to use the supplied foam inserts.

Lightning Bolt

Designed for the Foil Drive Gen2 and Gen2.5, the Lightning Bolt focuses on balanced takeoffs and efficient performance in a compact board shape.

Its straighter tail rocker, without a pronounced tail kick, helps reduce the tendency for the nose to lift excessively under acceleration. The rounded-square tail provides additional volume to help the board transition onto foil in a more horizontal position.

The adjustable mast position allows riders to fine-tune the board to their experience and riding style. Amundson's Signal Windows also provide a dedicated connection between the Foil Drive unit and controller, while allowing easier adjustment of the mast and unit.
