Foil Drive Assist MAX (Discontinued)

This has been a great upgrade from the Foil drive assist. I weigh 115kg and have no problem getting onto foil with the max. The new v3 controller is awesome with its new features and enlarged display screen. Beyond your great products you have assembled a fantastic support team at Foildrive. Sarah has been incredible to deal with! Its great to have a company so dedicated to supporting their products.

Can’t wait to shred the outer banks at home and around the F50 yachts at Sail GP.

I recently purchased the FoilDrive Assist MAX Gen2, and I couldn’t be happier with the decision. The product quality is outstanding, and the customer service was excellent throughout the process. It’s a game-changer for my foiling sessions—smooth, powerful, and far better than using a jetski.
One thing I wish I had known beforehand is that the standard charger takes about 3 hours to fully recharge the battery. This limits me to two 1-hour sessions per day with a single battery. If I had realized this earlier, I would have added the fast charger to my order. That said, I’ve got another battery on the way, which will definitely help extend my time on the water.
Overall, I’m glad I finally bit the bullet and invested in this setup. It’s a fantastic product that delivers exactly what it promises. Highly recommended for anyone serious about foiling!

This system is just so much fun, only advice is to get two batteries from day one.

Amazing power, great service

I really like it compare to the Assist +. Room for improvements:i would like a remote that leaves my palm open to better hold onto my board and/or paddle. You could even have a remote specifically for paddles.
With the immersion of trench boards, a rear battery access would be nice.
Better RF for carbon boards without the need for additional accessories.
Would be cool if you had a watch app that could link with the base and collect ride session data. Or even act as a back up secondary remote for emergency.
Add an accelerometer to also add data to sessions. Maybe can be used to help improve pump technique.
Try building battery packs that are already in a hard sealed case in the shape of the nose cone. That way you’re not dealing with different nose cones and it’s a simpler battery R&I.

I’ve never had more fun learning g a new water sport in my life . Having a blast and learning more every session .
