The Carbon Integrated Mast M5 Split Bolt is a specialised hardware component primarily used in integrated hydrofoil systems, such as those from Armstrong Foils. These bolts are used to secure internal components like the motor assembly within the mast. 

While the M5 split bolt is used for internal motor mounting, many riders use larger Titanium Mast Plate Split Bolts (typically M7, or M8) to attach the mast to the board's tracks.
