The Foil Drive MAX Travel Battery allows you to travel with your gear to your favourite riding destination and take a battery with you!

The MAX Travel Battery breaks down into three smaller sections for approved airline travel with 2 parts being 129.6wh and one part at 97.2wh. With just a few simple screws, the battery reassembles quickly and easily and can stay complete for storage, usage and charging.

The complete battery when joined together is rated at 9ah capacity or 350wh meaning it is slightly larger capacity or run time than the MAX Sport battery. Due to the extra length added by the extra connector parts, the Travel Battery uses the longer "A" Nose Cone for your Assist MAX.

Most airlines around the world will allow a person to carry 2x 100-160wh batteries, some do require pre-approval first though.

Can Travel batteries be used e-foiling/constant power? No. These batteries are designed to be used in Assist mode only.

As with all Gen2 Foil Drive batteries, the MAX Travel Battery is certified IP68 rated for increased protection and peace of mind against water and dust. 

The single main power plug contains larger connectors that provide power to the Foil Drive unit and smaller connectors for charging the battery. The included dust caps provides extra protection during storage & transport.

Only compatible with Foil Drive Assist MAX.

Amazing travel battery

I love my Travel battery! It has opened up entirely new places to ride. I have taken it to Costa Rica several times with no issues. I have taken it to Mexico as well. Make sure you bring all the documentation, the case, and talk to the airline in advance to arrange (returning from Mexico back to the US had some issues) but were resolved at the airport. Each country has unique rules on what can get through security (number of batteries, size of batteries). I have been using if for prone/wave and wing foiling. Get it!
