The smaller size keeps the system lighter and more responsive underfoot resulting in more natural through turns, easier take-off, and a more lively ride when pumping between sections or connecting waves.

With less mass/swing weight in the front of the unit, the board feels easier to turn, pump, redirect, and unweight. For pumping, surfing, downwinding, wing, and parawinging, this makes a noticeable difference.
